Word Of The Day: CURIOSITY
Over the next few weeks I will be focusing on a word of the day drawn from a list created at the beginning of January. Each word was chosen to serve as a guide to inspire and inform my steps through 2020. If you are just joining me now and want to look in on earlier posts on this topic, you will find links to each at the end.

CURIOSITY
Curiosity is a desire to learn, to discover, and to be open to new ideas and possibilities. To be curious is to wonder, and to ask yet another question. It is a spirit of inquisitiveness that leads into undiscovered territory and out into the frontier of our not knowing.
It is a wonderful thing to be curious about what piques our interest.
That is the exciting side of the curiosity coin.
There is however, another side to that coin. A side which requires even more courage, more daring, and more vulnerability. And that is the willingness to consider that there may be more to the story than we can see, or a different story altogether. The real test of our curiosity is whether we are willing to loosen our grip on our point of view, look at things through the lens of another, and even be proven wrong.
